Meet the Team

Reenee Khanna - Founder

Dance has always held a special place in my heart.
It’s been a constant in my life through all the highs and lows.

I dance when I’m sad, when I’m celebrating, when I need clarity.

I dance to reconnect with myself, to shake off stress, to spark joy.
It helps me process emotions, stay grounded, and feel free in my body.

For me, dance is more than movement.
It’s self-expression.
It’s self-care.
It’s self-discovery.
It’s play, passion, purpose

It's how I’ve grown into the person I am today.

That’s the heart behind Dance Bollywood.

I created this school with the dream of building a space where others could experience that same magic.  A space to grow, learn, and shine in a safe, judgment-free environment.

Dance Bollywood is a space for laughter, joy, and self-expression.

A place to ground into your body, unlock your creativity, and elevate your energy.

A place where memories are made, friendships are formed, and confidence is born.

Here, we welcome dancers of all ages and backgrounds.

Whether you're stepping into the studio for the first time or returning to a lifelong passion—this is a space where you can be fully you.

And yes, we train hard.

All our classes are rooted in the richness of Indian dance traditions. I bring years of professional experience from training in semi-classical and folk dance in Toronto to studying Kathak and Bollywood under legends like Madhumati and Saroj Khan in Mumbai.

Every class is designed to not only build strong technique but also to foster personal growth to bring out each dancer’s full creative potential.

At Dance Bollywood, it’s never just about getting the moves right, it’s about dancing in a way that lights you up from the inside out.

Vikyathi Shetty

I've been dancing since I was five, trained in Bharatnatyam’s grace and Bollywood freestyle’s energy—two sides of my personality.

Beyond these, I’ve explored Bhangra, Lavani, Qawwali, and Western dance, winning numerous competitions and teaching young adults. To me, dance is a language beyond words, and I’d love to share its magic with you.

Let’s dance our hearts out!

Rashi Shetty

Trained in Bharatnatyam, I’ve embraced its precision, discipline, and rich tradition. But the moment Bollywood music plays, I can’t stay still—I have to dance!

From college events to weddings, I love getting people of all ages on their feet. To me, dance is more than steps—it’s about connection, joy, and creating unforgettable memories through a universal language.
